We offer live music services for both the ceremony and dinner, as well as DJ & wedding band options for the reception. Whether you want full-service the whole day through, or perhaps just some nice live music during cocktail hour, we have you covered with beautiful music that your guests will be sure to remember.

Grayson and Jenna originally met at music school at Grand Valley State University. After receiving bachelors degrees, Jenna and Grayson have found success in both performing and teaching music. In January 2024, Jenna graduated with a PhD in educational leadership.

Although violin, guitar, and vocals are The Barton Duo's bread and butter, Grayson and Jenna play other instruments as well, including piano, harp, flute, harmonica, and drums, among others.

One of our fastest growing wedding requests is to provide both live music services as well as DJ services for the reception. Why? Simple. It's usually much cheaper and easier to hire one music vender vs. two or more.
By providing the live music and DJ services, we can save our clients on average of 40% vs. booking live music and a separate DJ. It's also less hassle for our clients. We have had clients in the past who booked separate DJs tell us they wish they knew we offered the DJ service as well before they booked someone else! With our premium sound system, top-tier dance lights, uplighting, and attention to detail, you and your guests will be dancing the night away.

We feel that our versatility in this area is what really sets us apart in value from other musicians and DJs. You don't have to take our word for it, just ask any of our past clients.
Grayson, or "DJ Gray," has a unique approach to DJing. We believe that our clients should have input in what is played at their own wedding! After all, that's what we wanted for our own wedding day. We create a collaborative Spotify playlist for each client, so that they can add music they love and want to hear at their wedding. Grayson then adds these songs to his DJ software and can mix them using his controller.
Another advantage is that Grayson and Jenna work as a production team. That means while Grayson is making an announcement, Jenna can duck the music volume seamlessly, creating an ultra-professional wedding DJ presentation that your guests will notice and appreciate. While Jenna is mixing out a song, Grayson is syncing the lights to the music. Their fun, upbeat personalities will ensure that everyone has a great time.
